About the event
Because BioTech is not just about life sciences skills; it also presents some of the biggest engineering and IT challenges available in STEM. The Sanger Institute runs a data centre holding 42 Petabytes of data which processes more than 3 million jobs per week for the scientists on site. If you’ve ever wanted to know how this data is used – and why the Centre could use your skills – this event is for you.
For CambridgeWIT the BioData Innovation Centre will be opening up their site and hosting an event which brings together 3 amazing speakers followed by refreshments and networking. This event will be an intro to Bio-tech with a focus on women working in this field – and why we should join them.
