About the Event

If you like to hear the tips and tricks Arm former VP Sales Europe and Asia uses when in difficult meetings with the world's leading tech companies, come to this workshop and hear former VP Sales at Arm Helen Adams and The Geek Whisperer Adelina Chalmers share:

· The 3 most intimidating meetings Arm VP Sales had with world leading tech companies

· What happens in our brain when your mind goes blank or you can't contain your emotions

· The top 5 ways you can become unstuck when things get tough in a meeting.

Who is delivering this workshop?

Helen Adams is Arm former VP Sales Europe and Asia who saw Arm through its steep growth over 12 years from a few hundred million to over a billion in revenue. She shares her expertise on being in tough sales meetings worth millions with some of the biggest tech corporates such as Samsung, Nokia, Microsoft and Huawei, to name but a few.

Adelina Chalmers a.k.a. The Geek Whisperer specialises in helping people in tech get buy-in from others. She noticed women in tech get interrupted more than men when her course "How to respond when Challenged and Interrupted in a Meeting" was attended mainly by women (80%), when usually 95% of her courses' attendees are men. Adelina has worked with the most successful scale-ups in Cambridge such as Arm, Syndicate Room, Speechmatics, Cambridge Nanosystems and FeatureSpace.

The workshop will be held at the Royal Society of Cambridge. After refreshments we will hear Helen and Adelina discuss real life experiences in dfficult meetings before Adelina leads an interactive session where we look at challenges you have faced and how to deal with them.
